Rentals:
Before coming to live in
Florida, I had been coming
to the area every year with
my family for our vacation.
Like many people who visit
Central Florida for a
vacation or holiday, we
stayed in hotels. We did
this simply because we were
used to vacationing in
Europe and elsewhere, and
this was the way it had
always been done.
One particular year we had
some friends that wanted to
come along with us, and so
we decided that as the cost
of hotel rooms were starting
to mount up we would look
into the option of renting a
villa and splitting the cost
between the families.
This was an option we had
never even considered before
as we had assumed that the
cost would be out of our
budget. I wish we had
discovered this option many
years earlier! It
actually worked out less
expensive for us in more
ways than one and turned out
to be a totally refreshing
change.

If you want to do
your own laundry the
hotel might have a
facility. You will
have to get in line
and also pay extra
for machines and

All of our villas
are equipped with a
full size washer and
dryer at no extra
charge. Put in
the washing and go
out and enjoy
yourself!! |

Maids Knocking |
You have to vacate
your room to allow
cleaner access. |
If you have had a
late night, no
problem, have
another hour in bed!
No cleaner will be
knocking calling out
"housekeeping!" |

Noise |
The hotel can be a
noisy place. |
All of our villas
are located in
tranquil locations
yet close to the
action. |
|
Meals |
You have to eat out
for every meal. |
Some or all meals
can be prepared in a
villa-they all have
full size fully
equipped kitchens
with everything you
need. |

Swimming Pool |
If the hotel has a
pool you are sharing
it with other,
sometimes unpleasant
guests. Plus,
often hotel pools
are not heated, and
you'll have to be
quick to get a sun
bed. |
All of our villas
have there own
private screened in
pools which can be
heated if required.
Some even have
Jacuzzis! All
of our villas have
pool deck furniture,
chairs sun beds
tables etc. |

Hidden Charges |
Upon arrival there
are often extra
charges, taxes,
deposits etc.
|
There are no hidden
taxes etc charged
when you arrive. All
you are asked for is
a security deposit
which is refunded as
long as the villa
has been respected
and no breakages
have occurred. |

Personality |
The hotel has no
"character". |
The home will have
it's own unique
character and you
will soon be calling
it "home". |
|
Location |
You could be located
many miles away from
the attractions. |
All of our villas
are located close to
the attractions and
also major highways
giving easy access
to all of Florida. |

Keys |
You have to check
your key in and out
every time you leave
your room. |
You get the keys on
arrival and keep
them throughout your
stay, just as you
would if it were
your own home. |

Pets |
Most hotels will
only permit service
animals to stay with
their people. |
Some of our rental
villas are pet friendly,
and you're welcome
to bring your dog or
cat to stay with you.

Ownership |
You will be staying
at a facility
usually owned by a
large company who
make their profits
simply by getting as
many guests in as
they can. |
Each home is
privately owned by
an individual who
will take great
pride in their home,
They do not make
vast profit from
renting out their
home. The
owners simply hope
to offset some of
the running costs by
renting it out when
they are not there. |
Consider the savings on just
one week of breakfasts:
A family of 4 staying in a
hotel and eating at a cheap
buffet breakfast
establishment every day for
a 7 day vacation. Cost
of breakfast each per day =
$4.28 with tax, plus a drink
each because these are
extra. So, figure
another $1.25 each for
drinks, plus the tip for the
waitress! So, add
another 15-20%. The
total cost for the week to
feed a family of 4 for
breakfast only (the cheapest
meal of the day) amounts to
around $180 !!!!
Now imagine how much money
could be saved just by
having a meal in the villa
occasionally.
You can cook a meal in the
fully equipped kitchen, or
simply make sandwiches to
enjoy by the pool!
Save money AND save time by
enjoying your vacation
holiday rather than standing
in line at a restaurant!
